I trade Gold on my own XM account using an algorithmic strategy called Gold Strat. My live trades are published as a signal on MQL5 — MetaTrader 5’s built-in copy trading system. When you subscribe, every trade I execute is automatically copied to your account in proportion to your balance. You never need to watch a chart, make a decision, or take any action. Your account simply follows mine, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Follow these steps in order. Read each step fully before clicking anything. If you skip a step or do things out of sequence, copy trading will not activate correctly.
You must use our referral link to open your XM account. This is what links your account to Vortex and activates your monthly rebate. If you open an XM account directly without our link, the rebate will not apply and you will pay $45/month out of pocket.

Recommended minimum deposit: $40 USD (approximately R730). This is your own trading capital held securely by XM — it is used purely for trading. You may deposit more if you wish, but $40 is the recommended starting point for copying at 0.10 lots.
Complete XM’s identity verification — you will need a copy of your ID and proof of address. This usually takes a few hours to approve.
MetaTrader 5 is the trading platform used by XM. You must use the desktop (PC or laptop) version to complete the signal subscription setup. Mobile can be used to monitor your account afterward, but the initial setup requires a desktop.

Once downloaded, install it and log in using your XM account number and password (emailed to you by XM after registration). Select XMGlobal-MT5 as your server when logging in.
MQL5 is the platform that manages signal subscriptions inside MetaTrader 5. You need a free MQL5 account to subscribe to Gold Strat. This is separate from your XM account.

Once registered, link your MQL5 account to MT5:
1. Open MT5 → click Tools → click Options
2. Click the Community tab
3. Enter your MQL5 login and password → click OK
You should see a confirmation in MT5’s Journal tab that you are logged into MQL5.community.

On the signal page:
1. Click the green “Subscribe for 30 USD” button
2. Log in with your MQL5 account
3. Select your payment method and complete payment
4. You will be redirected to the copy settings page
5. Enter your MT5 master password (check your XM welcome email)
6. Click “Copy Trades” to activate
The subscription is now active. However, for trades to copy 24/7 without your computer being on, you need to complete Step 5.
Without the Virtual Server, copy trading only works while your computer is switched on. The Virtual Server keeps MT5 running in the cloud 24/7 — trades copy even when your laptop is off.
To set up the VPS inside MT5:
1. In the Navigator panel on the left, find your account number
2. Right-click your account number
3. Select “Register a Virtual Server”
4. Select the $15/month plan
5. Pay via credit card or MQL5 wallet
6. Click “Migrate Now”
That’s it. Every trade I execute is now automatically copied to your account in real time. You don’t need to do anything else.
To monitor on mobile:
1. Download MetaTrader 5 from the App Store or Google Play
2. Log in with your XM account number and password
3. Go to Trade tab — open positions
4. Go to History tab — closed trades
